Wildlife Walk around Catherington Down and Catherington Lith - 14th Jul 2007

These photos were taken on a Canon EOS 30D digital Camera and have been unaltered except for shrinking into a size more suitable for web viewing. This was done using Photodesk on RISC OS, using a compression ratio of 75%

The lens was a Tamron 70-300mm tele-macro and most photos were taken using the 180-300mm macro facility. It's quite a good all round lens except that it has a minimum focussing distance of around 4-5' so can be difficult for close-ups. Most photos you see here were taken when the subject was around 6' away.
